Luke Garro joined Piebald in 2000, coming off a run in the Boston hardcore bands Fastbreak and In My Eyes. Twenty-five years later, the band just released Tales For The Rages, their first album since 2007 — written and recorded across six years, produced in part by Jay Maas, mastered by Jack Shirley.

But Garro’s story doesn’t stop at the kit. While he was touring, he was quietly building a marketing agency. That eventually led him to Noble & Cooley, the oldest operating drum manufacturer in America, where he now serves as General Manager overseeing a factory that’s been making shells since 1854.
