What to Expect

You’re curious about how Drumheads Media can help you. What can we do? Where do you start? Listed below are the steps that we will use to on-board you as a client. If you want to know more, please fill out the contact form at the bottom of this page and we’ll setup a time to chat.

1) Initial Contact
– We’ll reach out and schedule a time for the discovery call. That will usually happen with a Zoom meeting. We’ll send over a meeting recap for the initial call

2) Discovery Call
– 20–30 minute call to learn about their brand, goals, budget, timeline
– Confirm if you’re a good fit (drum builder, small drum brand, clinician, etc)
– If yes, summarize what will happen next and a timeline for a proposal

3) Proposal & Scope
– Create a simple proposal with: goals, services, timeline, pricing, and deliverables
– Make any small adjustments if needed

4) Agreement & Payment
– Send contract (scope, timelines, payment terms, revision policy)
– Get e-signature
– Send invoice for first month’s retainer
– Once payment is received, officially start the project

5) Onboarding Questionnaire
– We’ll send over a questionnaire for: brand story, target audience, competitors, existing content/links, logins, brand assets (logo, colors, photos), examples that you like
– Ask for any previous marketing data (Google Analytics, socials, etc) if you have it.

6) Kickoff Call
– Review goals and success metrics
– Walk through the plan for the first 60–90 days
– Confirm communication channels (email, Zoom, preferred days/times) and turnaround times

7) Setup & Access
– Get access to website, social media, email marketing, analytics, etc
– Set up project folder and content calendar
– Create a shared space for files and approvals (Google Drive, etc)

8) Strategy & Content Plan
– Create a 1–2 page simple strategy: key goals, audience, core offers
– Build a content plan: types of content (blogs, socials, emails), posting frequency, priority platforms
– Send to client for approval

9) First Deliverables
– Create first batch of content (ex: 2–3 blogs, 1–2 weeks of social posts, or agreed deliverables)
– Send with clear deadlines for feedback

10) Ongoing Check-ins
– Weekly or bi-weekly email updates
– Monthly review call to look at performance, wins, and next steps
